Pursuant to document no.850/TB-MTS dated 30th March 2023 of Vinacomin – Materials Trading Joint Stock Company (MTS) on cancelling the list of shareholders for 2023 annual general meeting, Vietnam Securities Depository would like to announce as follows:
Cancelling the list of shareholders for 2023 annual general meeting, record date: 28th March 2023 in accordance with Notice no. 990/TB-VSD dated 15th March 2023 by VSD.
Reason: The company needs more time to discuss the detailed meeting agenda and prepare issues that need to be approved at the meeting, ensuring completeness, validity and legality in accordance with prevailing laws. At the same time, to ensure the stability of personnel of the Board of Directors (BOD) at 2023 Annual General Meeting because Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group is a major shareholder owning 51% of the charter capital of the company and there is no plan to appoint a representative of TKV's capital at Vinacomin – Materials Trading Joint Stock Company to replace Mr. Tran The Thanh - the representative of TKV's capital, Chairman of the BOD retiring from 1st August 2023.
