Securities borrowing and lending is implemented for the purpose of supporting the settlement of securities transactions in case VSDC's member is in a temporary shortage of securities for settlement

Foreign investors (both individual and institutional ones) have to register for securities trading codes with VSDC before conducting investment activities in Vietnam’s securities market.

For the purpose of clearing and settlement of securities transactions, all data of trading results are sent to VSDC by stock exchanges at the close of trading sessions.
