On the morning of 29/06/2026, the Launch Ceremony of the Domestic Carbon Trading Platform was held at the Ceremonial Hall of Hanoi Stock Exchange under the direction of the Ministry of Finance, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Tran Hong Ha, Former Member of the Party Central Committee and Former Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; Mr. Nguyen Duc Chi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Finance; Mr. Le Cong Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Tang The Cuong, Director General of the Department of Environment under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Quang, Acting Deputy Director General of the Department of Climate Change under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; as well as representatives from the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
