The interest rate is a combination of fixed interest rate and floating interest rate, in which: + Interest rate applied to the first 02 interest calculation periods is: 10%/year; and + Interest rate applied to the following interest calculation periods: The sum of 4.5%/year and the reference interest rate on the date of determining the interest rate of that interest calculation period but not lower than 10%/year. In case the law applicable to bonds stipulates a maximum interest rate and that maximum rate is lower than the interest rate prescribed above, that maximum interest rate will be applied. In which: "Interest calculation period" means each period lasting 6 consecutive months from the issue date inclusive to the maturity date or the date of early redemption exclusive. For clarification, in the event that bonds are redeemed before maturity (whether voluntarily or compulsorily) in accordance with the provisions of the bond conditions, the final interest calculation period will be calculated from the most recent interest payment date up to the relevant pre-mature redemption date exclusive. The “reference interest rate” is determined by the average interest rate of individual saving deposits in VND (postpaid) with a term of 12 months (or equivalent) announced on the official websites of 04 Vietnamese commercial banks including: Vietcombank, BIDV (reference interest rate applicable to Hanoi city area), Vietinbank and Agribank (each of these banks is referred to as “Reference Bank”) announced on the interest rate determination date of that interest calculation period. For clarification, the reference interest rate will be determined in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Depository Service Contract. “Interest Determination Date” means, for each interest period after the first two interest periods, the 9th working day prior to the first day of that interest period. “Interest Payment Date” means the last day of each interest period; and the maturity date or early redemption date.
