On 23rd January 2022, pursuant to the the inspection results of the State Securities Commission (SSC) for SANA WMT Joint Venture Joint Stock Company, currently ASA Joint Stock Company; Basing on the investigation and verification results of the Investigative Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security that Nguyen Van Nam, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of ASA Joint Stock Company committed acts of forging records and documents to increase falsely face value of 7,000,000 ASA shares equal to 70,000,000,000 VND via private placement to raise capital from 30,000,000,000 VND to 100,000,000,000 VND of ASA Joint Stock Company, the SSC issued decision no.50/QĐ-UBCK on cancelling 7,000,000 shares via private placement to raise capital from 30 billion VND to 100 billion VND as follows: Cancelling 7,000,000 shares of ASA Joint Stock Company (securities code: ASA, registered for trading on Upcom of Hanoi Stock Exchange) via private placement to raise capital from 30,000,000,000 VND to 100,000,000,000 VND of ASA Joint Stock Company.
ASA shares of ASA Joint Stock Company are temporarily suspended from trading on the UPCoM from 24th January 2022 to cancel registration for trading 7,000,000 ASA shares and cancel 7,000,000 ASA shares via private placement to raise capital from 30,000,000,000 VND to 100,000,000,000 VND of ASA Joint Stock Company.
The decision no.50/QD-UBCK takes effect from 24th January 2022.
