- Execution rate: 10:2 (shareholders are entitled to 2 new shares for every 10 shares they own)
- Principle of rounding and handling fractional shares (if any): The number of shares that shareholders are entitled to receive will be rounded down to the unit. The fractional shares (if any) will be removed.
- Example: On record date, shareholder A who owns 208 shares will be entitled to receive 41.6 shares (calculated by the formula: (208x2)/10=41.6 shares). According to the principle of rounding, handling fractional shares, he will actually receive 41 new shares, the 0.6 fractional share will be removed.
- Payment place:
+ The holders whose shares have been deposited will receive dividend at the depository member where they opened depository account.
+ The holders whose shares have not been deposited will receive stock dividend at the Accounting Department of HUNG VUONG CORPORATION, Lot 44, My Tho Industrial Park, Tien Giang Province on working days (Monday-Friday). Original ID cards, legal power of attorney together with a notarized copy of ID card of authorizing person and original ID card of authorized person have to be presented.
Depository members (DMs) and direct account holding members (DAHMs) are requested to compare the securities holders’ information in the List generated and sent in the form of Certificate of Authorization by VSD with the information managed by DMs and DAHMs then send Confirmation (Form 03/THQ) in the form of Certificate of Authorization on the accuracy of the list of shareholders (For DMs and DAHMs who have not completed the connection to VSD’s terminal-based gateway/ISO-based gateway or where the connection has been disrupted, the Confirmation with Certificate of Authorization shall be sent to thongbaoxacnhan@vsd.vn). In case of rejection due to data errors, DMs and DAHMs are requested to send written notice on details of errors for necessary correction.
Deadline for sending confirmation: by 3 pm, 21st January 2016.
If DMs and DAHMs do not send confirmation document by the above deadline, VSD will consider the list provided to DMs and DAHMs by VSD accurate and confirmed. In case of arising disputes and losses to shareholders, DMs and DAHMs will have to bear all the related responsibilities.
DMs are requested to fully inform this notice to each investor who has deposited the above shares at DMs within 3 working days from the date on the notice.
