The interest rate is floating and is determined according to the following formula: Interest rate = reference interest rate + 1.25%/year "Reference interest rate" used to calculate the interest rate for each interest period is the average deposit interest rate Regular savings apply to individual customers in Vietnamese Dong (interest paid later) for a 12-month term (or equivalent) published on the official websites of 04 Vietnamese commercial banks including : Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade of Vietnam and Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (each of these banks is called “Bank reference”) on the date of determining the interest rate for that interest period. The reference interest rate (if not an integer), will be rounded to two decimal places according to the principle that if the 3rd number of the decimal part is greater than or equal to 5, then round up, if the 3rd number of the decimal part is greater than or equal to 5, then round up.
