- Principle of rounding and handling fractional shares: The number of additional shares issued will be rounded down to the whole number. All fractional shares (if any) will be cancelled and not issued.
For example: On the record date to exercise rights, shareholder A owns 1,234 shares, with a rights allocation ratio of 10:1, shareholder A will receive 123.4 new shares. According to the above rounding principle, the number of shares that shareholder A will receive is 123 shares; the fractional number of 0.4 shares will be cancelled.
